Sleuthing Through the Summer -
Official Game Rules for game beginning June 12, 2006.
Sleuthing Through the Summer (The Game) is
officially governed by the guidelines and rules stated below.
- This is NOT a game of chance. There
are no purchases necessary to enter or play.
- Each week, starting Monday, June 12, 2006,
one of the EasyBusinessFinder.com businesses, or any other Yuba-Sutter
Business that we may choose to be used (The Business) will be
chosen to be the location for the EasyBusinessFinder.com Magnifying Glass (The
Glass). This game may end at any time with or without advance
notice, but is planned to end on September 1, 2006.
- Each day during the week, (Monday through
Friday) between 3:30 and 4:00 PM, (maybe earlier on Fridays) a new clue will
be added to the EasyBusinessFinder.com website assisting each of you, the game
contestants (Contestant(s)) to find the location at which The Glass
is located. Note that Friday's clue may be listed as early as 12:00 Noon
to assist The Business as a result of their business hours.
Contestants may be individual or groups that have been formed to find
The Glass.
- The first Contestant to find The
Glass will be awarded a prize that has previously been chosen by The
Business ( Prize) The Prize may vary in size, but will
routinely be in the $25-$50 range. There will only be one Prize
as The Business may select for each Contestant whether or not
that Contestant is an individual or group of individuals.
- The Contestant may "find" The
Glass by calling, visiting, or otherwise contacting The Business.
- Subsequent "Finders" of The Glass may
be awarded smaller "consolation prizes" by The Business in the amount
and quantity they choose.
- The decision of The Business that has
The Glass or of EasyBusinessFinder.com will be final with regards
to the award(s) (Prize(s)), and with regards to the winner of such
award(s) (Prize(s)).
- This is designed to be an enjoyable game and
experience for all, and all participants must act in a manner that will
promote an a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Any taxes due or that may become due to any
municipality/entity as a result of winnings (Prize(s)) within this game
are the sole responsibility of the winner (Contestant).
- Contestants must be at least eighteen
(18) years old to participate in this game.
- Neither EasyBusinessFinder.com nor any
business involved may become liable in any amount greater than the value of
The Prize (as described above) for any action of lack of action with
regard to this game.
